What We Do

Our goal is to make this an estate sale or liquidation as easy as possible for our client. We understand the difficulties that can come with letting go of your long cherished possessions or especially those of a loved one. That's why we're here.

We will gladly hold you hand, if need be, and encourage you to be involved with as much as you want in this process. If you'd rather not be involved with the sale, that's okay too! We'll handle everything from start to finish.

Pricing

Merrilee started at the young age of six following her dad to estate sales and auctions! We appraise all items to be sold and mark prices for the day based upon our knowledge of their value and what we expect customers from the area to be willing to pay based upon our considerable experience. We are life long researchers, which helps us price your sale items with confidence.

Advertising

Our advertising  includes
  • Local Newspaper sales ads
  • Listing to a nation-wide audience on EstateSales.net
  • Local word-of-mouth to our extensive network of antique shops and dealers
  • Facebook posts and updates about your sale
  • Sign on the day of sale pointing to your location
  • And our website with an array of photos of your items.

Sales

We hire honest, experienced and reliable personnel to assist us on the day of the sale and personally organize, arrange, and display all items to be sold. When we open the doors, people are waiting to get in.  On the day of the sale, we greet all customers and assist them throughout their visit. We provide sales via cash, check and credit/debit card, for-a-fee. If needed, we are happy to help customers in locating and collecting their new treasures. Large items are marked sold as tags are pulled for pickup.

What to Expect

If you think you want to have an estate sale just give us a call.
  • We come to the location.
  • We determine if there are enough items to have a sale; if not, we may suggest other ways to sell your items.
  • We value your sale (how much revenue may be produced from the sale of your items).  
  • We determine how much work will be required to complete your sale.
From that information we will give you our fee rates, usually 30-45%. You will never be charged any additional fees!
  • We pay for all appropriate advertising!
  • We pay for all of our own help.
Once a contract has been signed we will get to work.
